As we all know, good prospective show horses are getting harder and harder to find. There was a day when we could go to the race track and find some nice prospective show horses. However, now with year round racing, demands to fill racing cards are taking its toll on the pool of young horses we have to choose from. Additionally, veterinary technology and the use of new and improved medications keep young horses running more often and harder until something gives.

More and more, the future of our industry is going to depend on imported horses and our domestic non-racing breeding programs. We are proud to introduce JR's Legacy - now standing at stud at Belvoir Farm
