Breeding Division As we all know, good prospective show horses are getting harder and harder to find. There was a day when we could go to the race track and find some nice prospective show horses. Now with year round racing, the demands to fill the racing cards are taking its toll on the pool of young horses we have to choose from at the track. Veterinary technology and the use of new and improved medications has kept these young horses running more often and harder until something gives. The future of our industry is going to depend on imported horses and our domestic non racing breeding programs. After much consideration we at Belvoir Farm have started our own breeding program. JR's Legacy is by Electric Blue out of Optimistic Orrin Electric Blue is by the good sire Cyane. Cyane was by Turn-To who was by Royal Charger. Optimistic Orrin is by Triple Optimist out of Inborn Triple Optimist was by leading sire Northern Dancer Inborn was by Native Charger who was by Native Dancer JR's pedigree combines the great jumping lines of Nearco and Native Dancer. JR has size, movement and an outstanding temperament. He stands for a stud fee of $750.00 with a live foul guarantee. JR shows in the Adult Amateur Division with an amateur and does well. He is usually a hack ribbon and also wins over the jumps. He is extremely well behaved and ships and shows off the same truck as mares and other horses.
